About me

My name is Bjarne Taurnier, and I am pleased that you are visiting my homepage. I am a freelance sound engineer and sound designer specializing in audio post-production for cinema, TV and web, as well as production sound for documentaries and other media. In my studio in Düsseldorf, I have everything you need for a professional and creative audio production. Before becoming a freelancer, I completed my Bachelor of Music in Music Design and Composition at the State University of Music in Trossingen. I then went on to study Film Sound & Sound Design at the Filmakademie Ludwigsburg in Baden-Württemberg. During my bachelor's degree, I completed a six-month internship as an audio designer at Crytek and played horn on the German Philharmonic Orchestra Bonn's tour of China.

Sound and music have been my passion for many years, creativity is my tool, and inspiration is my drive. As a Sound Engineer and Sound Designer I love creating unique soundscapes, telling stories, evoking emotions, and making ideas audible. With a trained ear, technical expertise, and years of passion, I hear something extraordinary in every sound, noise, or tone. Whether for Movies, Television or other Media – my goal is to bring visions to life through sound and give images emotion.
