Cranko's Children - The Talent Factory of the Stuttgart Ballet

Three students, one goal: They all want to become professional dancers and dream of a big dance career. At the world-renowned John Cranko School in Stuttgart, they receive the training they need. Young dancers from all over the world are drawn to the capital of Baden-Württemberg, hoping to land a spot on the prestigious international ballet stages through graduation from the Cranko School. It's a tough struggle, as both the acceptance and the training at the ballet school are incredibly demanding. 
"Crankos's Children" captures the extraordinary lives of three dancers at the renowned John Cranko School in Stuttgart and explores key questions: How do these young people use their opportunities to get closer to their goal of becoming professional dancers and gaining recognition? How do they balance their daily lives alongside dance and school, and what is it like living in the dance dormitory at the famous John Cranko School? Does their dream profession still have a future, or are they training for a dying craft? How much is art and culture still valued, especially in times of the pandemic?
