'Together forever and never apart.’ – This is the vow that sisters IKA (15) and LU (17) make to each other. In order to avoid being separated by marriage, Luise and Friederike of Mecklenburg-Strelitz get engaged to the brothers Prince Friedrich Wilhelm and Prince Louis of Prussia. Upon arriving at the Prussian court, they realize that it doesn’t take much to tear the two sisters apart and put their bond to the test. Soon, one will become a queen, and the other will be permanently banished from the royal court.
