Synopsis:
It is the combination of success, integration and prevention work that makes trainer Rachid El Bakri's boxing training something special. In his club 'Golden Boxing Gym Wiesbaden' he not only trains top athletes and promotes young talent, but also creates strong personalities and good people. He helps young people out of difficult situations and puts them on the right path with the boxing community.
The individual stories of the young boxers show how martial arts influences their lives, what changes and successes it brings with it and what meaning it has for them personally. The boxers are of different ages, in different situations and not always at the same level of sport, but boxing unites them. Not least because of her coach Rachid, for whom a close relationship with his athletes is his top priority.
The 30-minute film highlights young people's passion for martial arts. Their stories break the prejudices against brutal fistfights and show that for them boxing is more than just a sport. Namely a way of life characterized by discipline, concentration, skill, fairness, respect and self-confidence.
