Synopsis:

Bricked up windows, destroyed pipes and releasing vermin are common displacement practices in metropolitan areas. Mietropolis portrays the dimensions and consequences of the housing shortage using a microcosm. A second narrative strand deals with the utopia of colonizing a distant planet that is not habitable for humanity.
